Childcare

The child care ministry at FPC is richly blessed with experienced, knowledgeable and nurturing care givers. Many of these care givers have over 10 years of experience in our nursery. We know it is reassuring for you and your little ones to see the same familiar loving face each time you participate in an activity at the church.

Reservations

Child care reservations are required for church activities during times other than worship. You may make your reservations either through the church receptionist or through my e-mail address (ann@myfirstpres.org). Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event, although some special events may require reservations to be made a week in advance. If your plans change, please remember to cancel your reservation.

Healthcare

We strive for the healthiest and most sanitary environment for your children in our care. Disinfecting toys, using plastic gloves for each diaper change, and sterilizing changing pads after each use are just a few of the practices we use to assure your child has a safe and clean environment. For the protection of your child and other children, parents are requested not to leave a child in our care who appears ill (fever within the last 24 hours, coughing, etc.)

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Your child's safety is our number one priority. We use pagers and other methods of assuring that you are in touch with our care givers. You will be asked to sign your child in when you drop them off in our care. No one else will be allowed to pick up your child unless we have your permission.
