Session Committees

The Session of First Presbyterian Church does its work through twelve committees:

Deacon Committees

The Board of Deacons of First Presbyterian Church is responsible for the ministries of sympathy, witness, and service. The Board does its work through six committees:

COMMITTEES OF THE BOARD OF DEACONS

Archives Committee
Preserves and displays materials related to the history of our congregation; maintains the Archives Room.

Homebound Visitation
Calls on homebound members of the church; highly involved with people.

Food in Times of Need
Provides food for persons in times of critical need (usually at the time of death in a family or hospitalization).

Church Van Committee
Drives church vans on Sunday mornings.

Usher Team
Helps usher in the 8:15, 9:00, and 11:00 services.
