Mexico

Since 1992, members of FPC, ranging in age from elementary school agers to mid 70's, have participated in mission trips to Mexico, in coordination with Constructores Para Cristo(builders with Christ), a Presbyterian based mission in Birmingham, Alabama.

Each June, 30-40 members, paying mostly their own way, travel to Peidras Negres, Mexico to build homes for families in need, as well as assisting in conducting Bible School and helping in the established medical clinic. Since inception, the mission has placed over 500 families in new homes.

The Sarah Culbertson Fund, named in memory of an FPC member who invested a lifetime in support of missions, provides scholarships to first time participants in the work in the work in Piedras Negres.
