Hello FPC Family!

I hope you are all doing well! This past Sunday we started an outdoor service at 9:00 A.M. and we had a worship time and Bible study at 6:00 P.M. We will also be having a Hymn Sing and short devotional this Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. I’m saying this because these are excellent times for us to fellowship with one another. As we have been discussing the last couple of weeks the church is not a place. It is a people that gather together to worship the Lord. We might disagree on what worship looks like, we might disagree on favorite sports teams, we might disagree on politics, but at the end of the day the main thing is our love and devotion to the one who first loved us and was devoted to us. I pray I will see you all this coming Thursday in Fellowship Hall! These will go on for the foreseeable future so I hope to see you all next Sunday as well either outside in the morning or in Fellowship Hall in the evening!

Next week I will begin a several week long look at systematic theology. For those of you unfamiliar with this it is a realm of theology that looks at doctrines and how they interplay throughout the Bible. We will look first at the Word of God and the authority of Scripture. I look forward to writing these and I pray you all will look forward to reading and learning from these letters!

In Christ,

Rev. Michael Morris
