The Foundation was started over 30 years ago to assist and aid in the ministry of First Presbyterian Church Wichita Falls. It is funded from memorials, gifts, and individuals through estate planning. The Foundation’s investment portfolio is professionally managed using guidelines in the Foundation’s Investment Policy. Grant Requests forms are available to individuals and organizations yearly from the August through September. In early October, the Board of Trustees determines the amount of money that will be distributed, then reviews and acts upon each grant request.
