Student Ministry

Youth group is a place for 6th-12th graders to belong. We want you to know that here at FPC Student Ministries you matter and you are heard! We are here to help strengthen your personal walk with Jesus so that you will be able to defend your faith to the world. The hope is to love others to Jesus until they love others to Jesus.

Wednesday Night Youth

On Wednesday nights we gather together in the Undercroft (back of the church) from 6:30-8:00! The third Wednesday of every month we eat together for Church Night Supper in Fellowship Hall before going to the Undercroft to hear a testimony from the guest of the night. On a typical Wednesday we will start with a short game or two before diving into Scripture. After a lesson taught by Michael, we will either break into small groups and go more in depth with the passage or pray for one another!

We look forward to seeing you here!!

Sunday School

We meet from 9:30-10:15 in the Undercroft at the church. This school year we are looking at the basics of what we believe such as the Fruit of the Spirit, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and more!

Special Events

Once a month we gather together for fun events! This could be game nights, bowling, or lock-ins!

Forms

We have three different kinds of forms, only one is mandatory though! The 1-1 Form is if you wish for your student to meet with one of our youth volunteers or staff on a one-on-one basis during the school year. This is done in a public place, like a park, or coffee shop. One of the best ways to minister to students is to spend this valuable one-on-one time with them!

The next form is our Photo Release Form. If we do not get this back then we will not post photos of your child on our website or social media.

The last form is our mandatory form. It is our Medical Release Form. It is our medical release form and if you do not get it in then you cannot go! We do a lot of fun stuff for our youth but we need this on file for the worst-case scenario!

Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering with our wonderful group of young people please fill out a Volunteer Application and get it back to Michael as soon as you can!

Resources

Our denomination, ECO, has given AXIS as a resource to all of its members. What is AXIS? Theis vision is “To see all caring adults equipped with conversation, discipleship, and culture translation skills needed to reach the next generation for Christ.” The hope would be for you all to have just one real conversation with your students. A conversation that starts but doesn’t end. Here is the link to sign up! https://axis.org/eco-family/
